OK the news isn't so good, it is a lot to digest from ISIS to the hot seat that Dr. Tom Frieden is finding himself in. One thing that is certain though is that we can not collectively panic. I was having a visit with a neighbor last night that works for the FDA as an Administrator and before that he worked for NIH. As we covered all of the usual topics we finally got around to Ebola and he asked me point blank "should we start to panic" "of course not" was my answer. Ebola is not something that you can freak out about and run away from. We all know what happens when you do, Thomas Eric Duncan " bugged out" and brought Ebola with him to the United States in his desperate search for survival.

I live half a mile away from NIH where Amber Vinson will be staying for awhile. Welcome to the neighborhood Amber and I sincerely hope that you recover.
I know that God is out of fashion in the United States today but in this land that was founded upon religious freedom I am going to out myself. I believe in God. It is OK if you want to laugh and scoff at me. That it is your Right and I am not one to take anyone's rights from them. Why would God let such an awful thing like Ebola exist you might ask. It's not for me to answer because I can't begin to fathom the infinite mind that is the Creator's. I do know one thing though Nature does seem to have a natural built in system of checks and balances. Think about it in the last Forty years 52% of the World's animals have died and you can blame it on human over consumption and ignorance. The Arabica bean will be gone within the next 70 years. Checks and balances my friends.
